About the role
The Nordic Tender & Pricing Manager plays a critical role in shaping and executing pricing and tender strategies across the Nordic pharmaceutical markets. This role ensures competitive, compliant, and value-driven pricing and tender submissions that align with business objectives and local market dynamics.
Location: Office-based in Hyllie, The Point. Hybrid with the possibility to work from home.
Reports to: Nordic Director Operations, who is based in Malmö.
Main responsibilities:
Tender Management
• Lead the preparation and submission of pharmaceutical tenders to national and regional procurement agencies across Nordic markets. Collect and prepare all necessary data and documentation for tender submissions. Monitor tender portals and proactively manage timelines and requirements. Analyse tender outcomes, update the internal database with new, submitted, and won tenders. Ensure compliance with local regulatory and legal frameworks and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate tender submissions.
• Collaborate with the Brand Leads, General Manager and Nordic Director Operations for analysis of tenders.
Pricing Strategy & Execution
• Develop and maintain pricing strategies aligned with corporate objectives and local HTA/reimbursement frameworks. Manage price approvals, list price submissions, and price change processes in collaboration with Nordic stakeholders and HQ stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with internal pricing policies and external regulatory requirements. Support pricing negotiations with pharmacies and wholesalers. Collaborate with Market Access to support submissions and negotiations with health authorities.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, reimbursement landscapes and provide strategic recommendations based on data analysis and market insights. Support forecasting and scenario planning for pricing and tender activities.
Your Profile:
- Degree in Business, Pharmacy, Life science, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pricing, tendering, or market access within the pharmaceutical or med tech industry.
- Fluent in English and one of the Scandinavian languages.
- Experienced excel user. Good proficiency in other MS Office tools such as Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Planner. Proficient in pricing tools, and tender platforms (e.g., Mercell).
- As a person, you are structured, have numerical analytical skills, and strategic thinking. Furthermore, collaboration skills and stress tolerance combined with quality awareness are of great importance. A flexible approach is also highly valued.
