We are seeking a creative, business-minded Key Account Manager in Norway for a growing Nordic pharmaceutical company. Ideally, you live in the Oslo area and have experience from pharmaceutical launches and sales. You speak Norwegian and have a strong network in ophthalmology. Purpose of the Role
The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for driving the commercial success of the company’s portfolio by effectively launching and promoting pharmaceutical products. The role focuses on building strong, trust-based relationships with key customers and stakeholders, generating demand, and achieving ambitious sales targets. The KAM will act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, managing strategic relationships to ensure long-term business growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Launch and Sales Execution
• Lead and execute the launch plan for new pharmaceutical products in the assigned territory.
• Promote products to healthcare professionals in line with marketing and regulatory strategies.
• Achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs for both new and existing products.
2. Key Account Management
• Identify, develop, and manage strategic customer relationships (e.g., hospitals, specialist clinics).
• Understand the needs and structures of key accounts to offer tailored solutions.
• Create and implement strategic account plans with measurable objectives.
3. Business Development & Networking
• Actively seek and build new customer contacts within the healthcare and pharmaceutical environment.
• Strengthen the company’s presence and credibility in the marketplace through effective networking.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (medical, regulatory, marketing) to deliver a seamless customer experience.
4. Strategic Insight & Market Intelligence
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategy.
• Provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders to support strategic decisions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Existing network in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector is a strong asset.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English proficiency required.
