We are looking for a CEO with experience / understanding of B2B sales in the biotech tools or food & beverages markets (not drugs, healthcare or medtech). It should be a person experienced in selling to academic and industrial R & D labs as well as selling to industry in the process development and production departments of biotech, biopharmaceutical and biosimilars manufacturers where contract cycles can be long.
Extensive experience of successful sales (including negotiating and drafting agreements) at the international level is an absolute must. Experience of taking a small company's products onto the world market rather than those of a large major would also be a distinct advantage.
Can increase the corporate sales focus as the Company moves from an early developmental phase into a strong commercial phase. It would be ideal if the candidate has their own direct customer contacts from which the candidate could generate business immediately.
Has experience of building, motivating and driving successful sales teams and distributor networks.
The right person is entrepreneurial with a genuine interest and knowledge of how to build the business in small growth companies. You need to have a clear understanding of the small business demands, needs and challenges.
You are responsive, diplomatic and good at getting along with and motivating others, whilst having a clear view of the requirements from R & D, marketing, production, sales and quality managers.

• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Good understanding of business financials
The candidate does not necessarily have to have been working as CEO before, but it must in that case be a person who has a clear CEO potential, and who sees this as a major career move.
As the Company intends to list on a Swedish stock exchange in 2016, experience of listing a small company in Sweden would be an advantage, but is not essential. The ability to succinctly explain the company, its technology and its plans to potential investors that may have no scientific background is much more important.
