Safety Physician, Global position, Uppsala

As Safety Physician you have a global responsibility and you work in a global organisation with many internal contacts. You will be part of the group Medical Affairs with a team of 23 people, including 4 doctors. The position is based at the HQ of Aesthetics & Correctives (A&C) which will give you an interesting position and the opportunity to work with many contacts both internally and externally. 

You will be responsible for medical reviews and responses to regulatory authorities, affiliates and customers on all adverse events reports on A&C products received post-market and from clinical studies. You will be a support to particulary Legal Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, QA and MTO. 

Part of your responsibiliy will be to:

• Oversee pharmacovigilance and device vigilance activities
• Oversee risk management activities
• Medical support for Data and Safety Monitoring Boards
• Review and approve reports and sales/marketing material and publications

Candidate profile

• Registered Medical Doctor, medical specialist within relevant area for example dermatology, medicine or aesthetics
• A minimum of 5 years clinical experience at a University or teaching hospital
• A post doctoral degree or research experience
• Worked a minimum of 3 years at a pharma or med tech company
• Excellent oral and written skills and fluent in English is mandatory

As the position is basted at HQ and the responsibility is global there will be opportunity to travel and to work internationally.
