Business Controller/CFO - Construction company

On behalf of an international company we are looking for a Business Controller/CFO in Sweden to consolidate and develop the Swedish business. The company is operating internationally and the Nordic operationa is consolidated outside of Sweden. The future Business Controller has the responsibility for the finance and controlling team and for achieving the team’s objectives within their operating budget. The team consists of four members. The future job holder will report to the group CFO and the Swedish Country Manager respectively. The position is placed in Stockholm.

Priorities for the role include:

• Responsibility for the follow up of actions and results in Sweden
• Day-to-day activities for the Swedish operations
• Ensuring that plans, quotations and actions are well-positioned for growth and profitability
• Developing competencies and adapting to competition/environment

The ideal candidate has at least eight years of professional experience. The candidate will come from a current management or senior role. The candidate must have significant experience as well as good people and change management and communication and negotiation skills. The ideal candidate has a college or university degree, preferably with economics and commercial concentration. An engineering degree may be a distinction of the ideal candidate. Fluency in English and Swedish is a prerequisite.
