The Strategic Technologies function within the company is responsible for initiating and driving efforts to ensure the continued technical and commercial success of the company. The successful applicant will have considerable knowledge of the international pharmaceutical industry and have a broad technical and scientific platform, with special emphasis on drug development. Managerial experience from an industrial setting is required, and project leadership background is an advantage. The applicant should have considerable skills in combining scientific aspects with commercial since the team is responsible for evaluating new potential technologies as well as new products. As the team is both multi-skilled and senior, a background in managing similar settings is a must. Social skills are essential as the position requires extensive contacts cross functional internal and external contacts. A broad international network is considered an additional qualification.
