Head of Sales and Business Development - Uppsala/Stockholm

Our client is a listed MedTech company that has developed and patented a novel method for detecting cancer activity. This can help clinicians to optimize treatment strategies in cancer patients. 

The Company is now entering an expansion phase and will thus become more focused on sales and marketing. To establish their product world-wide we are now seeking a Head of Sales who will be responsible person to speed up the global roll out.

The Role:

Your main task will be to drive sales of the products throughout the world. That means building a sales strategy and a business model with the price strategy best suitable for each country or geographic area.

You will be responsible for direct sales as well as running a network of contracted distributors. That includes building good relationships with both clients and distributors. Apart from direct sales you will educate the distributors so they will have access to all the tools in the box to sell the Company's products, contract new distributors to ensure that a complete coverage in the key markets (Asia, Europe, USA) and evaluate the existing distributors.

The Person:

  • Five years of sales experience within Med Tech or Pharma
  • Proven track record in sales
  • Educated to degree level within science
  • Fluency in English and preferably also in Swedish
  • Professional experience of IVD and oncology is desirable
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial and tenacious in delivering business result
  • Decisive and forward thinking, with strong analytic and strategic capability
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels both internally and externally
  • Ability to travel
