Finance Accountant
Recruiting a Finance Accountant for a pharmaceutical company with offices in central Stockholm. The company is known for its excellent corporate culture, offering employees a high degree of freedom combined with responsibility, and providing patients with innovative medicines.
Job Purpose (overall objective of the role)
Responsible for the accounting process including general accounting to monthly and annual reporting including Statutory Reports, VAT, Tax and Declaration. Secure that accounting and period close routines follow internal control procedures and documents. Super user for ARIBA.
Key Accountabilities (responsibilities and main tasks)
- To be responsible for the company's accounting process with the objective to secure that valid general accounting and internal procedures principles are followed at all times
- To be responsible for TAX, VAT and all related reporting to Authorities in Sweden and the Territory as applicable
- Lead the work with External Auditors, preparation and submission of Annual Report, Annual Tax pack, Board Meeting minutes and relevant documents.
- Key local contact and counter part for the company´s Business Service Center in Spain (OBSC).
- To take active part in the development and improvement of processes and infrastructure in the area of accounting and reporting together with local stake holders and OBSC.
- To take responsibility for keeping high, relevant and up to date knowledge about the internal business systems and local accounting and Tax rules for Sweden and the Territory as applicable
- To take active part in the development of internal control & quality environment in the area of accounting
- To be responsible for following company Procedures and Policies at all time
