COO/CEO to clinical stage biopharmaceutical company - Stockholm/Gothenburg

We are looking for a COO/CEO responsible for the company's research and development as well as business activities. That role includes team and personnel responsibility, prioritizing resources and ensuring that the goals and time plans set by the board are followed. This role also includes overall responsibility for business development and results emanating from these activities.

Having business sense, developed in a life science environment, understanding the biotech and pharma market is critical. Business development background is a plus, understanding the dynamics including negotiating and drafting agreements.

The person we are looking for should preferably have experience of leading a clinical research team in the biotech start-up or pharmaceutical industries, having good leadership skills effective in multidisciplinary and virtual teams, being social and communicative and scientifically focused.

Education

• A university degree in the life science area and an additional degree in business administration is plus.
