Nordic Business Unit Manager, Speciality Care

We are working exclusively to find an experienced Business Unit Manager (BUM) responsible for marketing and sales in the Nordic region for regional specialty care business. This is an exciting opportunity to join a European specialist pharmaceutical company with presence in all Nordic countries.

The company is in a restructure phase aiming to create an organisation able to pursue further growth with upcoming launches and strengthen focus towards Sweden. With a key account management approach and close collaboration between sales, marketing, medical and market access new products will be launched in a timely and efficient manner as well as accelerate growth of current portfolio is expected.

Overall job purpose:

With a presence in all Nordic countries (in Finland via distributor) and a turnover of € 17 mio in 2017, supported by an organization of around 30 FTEs, the company aims pursue further growth. Key Account Management has been rolled out and market access resources and competences are being strengthened.

The BUM will be responsible for the marketing and sales results in the Nordic region for regional specialty care business including product management, field based activities, budgeting and other business unit operations.

The BUM is responsible for executing portfolio strategies to optimize sales through excellent understanding of the local markets and strong cross-functional implementation. The BUM leads, coaches, motivates, and develops the regional team to deliver excellent results now and in the evolving business. The BUM ensures maximization of the contribution of delivering sales against set budgets and other agreed performance targets.

The BUM will him/herself develop strong business relationship with key customers and influencers to maintain and develop existing business and capitalize on new business opportunities.

Profile - you must have;

A strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements

Business planning and financial analysis of business opportunities capabilities

Key Account Management capabilities

An ability to lead teams within tight timelines

An ability to establish and maintain effective working team relationship with all support departments including international colleagues and stakeholders.

Solid experience from sales and marketing of specialty care products

A strong leadership experience

Experience from work in a matrix organization, e.g. multiple countries is a merit
